New Possibilities for Employment of Persons with Disabilities

In collaboration with Seiden Kogyo Co., Ltd. from Japan, the Asia Human Development Center (AHDC) is preparing to launch a new Type B employment program utilizing hydroponic farming at its Employment Support Center for Persons with Disabilities this coming autumn. As part of these preparations, our Deputy Director, Ts. Odgerel, and Job Coach, P. Munkhtshimeg, are currently traveling in Japan for training.

On August 4, the first day of their training, they visited "Social House" in Takasaki City—which provides Type B Employment Continued Support as well as life care service programs for individuals with severe disabilities—and the disability welfare facility "Himawari" to deepen their understanding of their respective initiatives and operations.
