Lecture on the Accessibility Law at Mongolia's Parliamentary Committee
AHDC Chairperson Chiba delivered a lecture on the Accessibility Law to Mongolia's Standing Committee on Social Policy, framing barrier-free environments not as welfare costs, but as investments in the country's future.

Today, AHDC Chairperson Chiba delivered a lecture on the "Accessibility Law" at a meeting of Mongolia's Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Policy.
The most important idea we shared during the discussion: "A barrier-free environment is not a welfare cost, but an investment in the country's future."
The experience of Japan, the United States, and South Korea shows that improving accessibility is not only a measure for persons with disabilities — it is the foundation of social transformation that benefits the elderly, parents with young children, tourism, and overall economic development.
Change that starts from the needs of persons with disabilities raises the quality of life for all citizens. Understanding this structure correctly is the starting point for drafting legislation.
Let us together create a law that views accessibility as "an investment in the future," not as "a welfare expense."
Holding such a discussion with the members of the Social Policy Standing Committee was a major step forward. We are confident that Mongolia will change. We will continue to work with all our energy to build that system.
